For her first exhibition in France, Pilar Albarracin chose to display an impressive set-up, “Techo de Ofrendas”, a ‘roof of offerings’ made of several hundreds of hanging Flamenco dresses, along with the screening of a series of videos including La Cabra, Lunares and Prohibido el Cante, bringing together the wild emotion of Flamenco, Corridas’ rituals, sacrifice, and death.
