MONOMANIAX embodies the rumor of urban nights, sometimes seedy but always promising, a sound dominated by 80's synths and digital music, emerging electronic music, Funk that's becoming more and more rock, an intellectualized post-punk scene. It is a transgender music, sharp and tense style, with arrogant, outrageous or glamorous silhouettes.
This collective of musicians, created in 2003 in the East of Paris, could already take pride in certain tracks remixed by BRONDINSKI or COSMO VITELLI.
MONOMANIAX new 4 track EP is released by BLACK FROG ENTERTAINMENT, a music label launched by MC SOLO DICKO (ASSASSIN, TOXIC ...).
The track Pigalle, a video by ANTO HINH-THAI and JEREMY HALKIN, makes us want to watch, to tack quietly in the dark corners of night clubs. It's a cliché of night time in the Peep Show neighborhood, where girls who are everything but shy lure us into the discreet and velvety vapors of tasteful bondage.
