There was something really vital missing in my néo punk/goth/lounge - post indus/brit/hardcore (what do you mean?) musical environment.

But of course!!! The Recorder !! The recorder and if possible with a majorette, essential the majorette (It's my sharp side!).

Fortunately Polysics came right in time to my rescue.

Since 1997 Hayashi and his 3 associates created a punky pop music with a happy bumpy 80's flair. After a few european concerts, seen at the Eurockeans de Belfort (a rock festival in France.) last June for a memorable show. Polysics exports a sweet and tasteful sound much appreciated on rainy days. Hayashi, fan of Devo since always (remember those 4 americans with overalls and strange hats, looking very satisfed.) also decided to lobotomize us with technicolored happiness.

Stars in Japan, able to fill up any venues there, Polysics remains too unknown here.

Their new single "You -You-You" (a song from the japanese cartoon of Keroro Gunso) will be out october 2006
