Self-portrait
Never from the first moment that we met would I have imagined that this voluptuous, open,self-assured, pretty, glamorous blond, who, handbag at her hand, stepped through the door perched on her high heels, turning her cheek to the entire troupe with a slightly stiff bright pink smile on her face, would become my soulmate. This Marilyn Monroe-like figure loomed up on me on our first play rehearsal encounter. There I was, teeny brunette, scared stiff at the meer idea of being on stage professionally for the first time surrounded by big names such as Jean-Luc Moreau, only mentioning him... And there comes the most unlikely unexpected person, this creature springing up straight out of showbiz fiction, coming to reassure me and hold my hand, whispering to my ear that all was perfect and that I was amusing her! Here's how it all started, to me she became my glamour sister, my opposite mirror, my intellectual exchange. To her I became her inspiration; her first book "You'll find it funny but I'm leaving you", published by Plon and adapted to the screen by Philippe Harel, it's our life, our story! Read it, laugh with it.
